Sparta Dec 30 1872 Mr J. B. McDill Dear Sir, I write to inform you that the money Order you sent was received all right. $115.50. I was very glad to get it for I was needing it pretty badly and I should be just as glad to get the balance, or as much of it as possible. I wrote to John by return of mail on receiving his but have received no answer yet, I wish if it is possible you would see those men that are behind and see about when they expect to pay it. Doing nothing and buying everything is hard on a fellows pocket Book and if I had all the money now there is a pretty good opening for business with a small capital. I think when spring opens and the
