Sun. 10. Heavy rain in night, & cleared off fine, mid-day. N. W. breeze. Children's exercises morn. & regular service evg. Mon. 11. Ideal June day, tis cove in office a.m. Not very well, but quite busy. Tues. 12. Another very fine day. Clouding evg. Tinner fixed porch conductor. Weeding, mowing, & sowed more grass seed evg. Charlotte picking lots of nice berries. Wed. 13. Fine shower in night. Clearing morn. Fine day. Beautiful weather. Weeded & hoed, morn & evg. but was feeling very well. Rather cool nights for corn, they say. Thurs. 14. Another fine day.--Feeling rather better. --Hoed morn. & weeded & sprinkled, evg. Others all as good. Exercises evg. I only looked in. Was too late to get seats reserved. Fri. 15. Nice day. S. Easterly breeze. Hoed morn., mowed and sprinkled, evg. Sat. 16. Partly cloudy, cool, indication of rain. Charlotte took stage for Deborah. Very busy a.m.-- as Hawkins-Luther ball game from 4 or 5 o.c.-- 8 to 7 for us. Met Mrs. Emma Reed-Lambert. --Hoed morn. & mowed evg.
