Mon. 22. Heavy Warm Rain in night. Rainy day. Warm. Office as usual. Down Town Evg. Tues. 23. Fairish + warm Southerly breezes. Rather busy. Cs in A.M. & P.M. - Downtown Evg. Wed. 24. Nice morn & day. Warm Very heavy dews. Busy. Canvassing campaign funds P.M. & e. at office. Down town Evg. Thurs. 25. Fine day & very summer like. 70 degrees or more. P.M. Dinner at C.P. ch. - clear in A.M. At speeches evg - Roberts, Saunders, & O'Connell - cloudy evg. Fri. 26. Fine again, after cloudy morn Collecting campaign funds some Girls + I out to Ed. Fourt's Evg. to a social, or house warming Sat. 27. Very warm. Copious showers with thu[nder] and lightning Busy at office.
