I have been earmarking such war bonds as I have and purchase for various specific things for our house. These are items which will be needed to make it liveable but which are not usually figured in the house cost. It isn't necessary that we actually use them for their designated purpose but it is fun to figure things out and earmark them. Of the 12 I have at home they are earmarked. Bond No 1. peat moss and black dirt for the garden - This will buy us 2 bales of peat moss for our wildflower garden and about 3 loads of good black soil for the garden. There might b a little left over for fertilizer.
