San Marcos, Texas 21 July 1943 Dearest: I suppose you've been wondering for the last couple of days... not hearing from me. But I've just been so busy that I've hardly had time to eat. On a duration test to see if we can be on the job from Monday a.m. to Wednesday p.m. without relief. We could and did. But I'm really done in. We can sleep all day tomorrow.
