Des Moines Nov 18th 1867 Dear Father & Mother Your letters have all been answered I believe But I will write again though I have nothing new to write. As Oria, Mary & Em are gone I am almost alone. But am getting along very well. Have good health. And with the exception of an occasional attact of the "Blue Devils," enjoy life. When business is good I am all right. When it is dull I am blue and cant help it. Old Job never was in the retail drug
