Chariton, June 14th 1872 My dear Brother & Sister Your letter of June 5th is at hand. You might write to (Borcommal?) at Osceola, Iowa if you think for the best. Bro Guyer went last week to Indianola to attend the commencement of the College there, and he said when he returned he would know more about what the Elders say - Now - what your chances may be to enter the conference. You know as well as I do, I should like to see you exceed and would gladly do all in my power to help you, but I have thought you had some good friends at home and if you could get to work there, you would have influence to help you, which you wont have here (rest of document has missing parts)
