I have a chance of getting a peace of land a purty good chance 25 acres of timber and 80 of prairie for bout 300 dollars but it is out of the way whare thare is no chance of scool an I don't believe I should be satisfied and Sabrina is not satisfied to stay in Iowa I think likely I could make more by staing here and making a farm but I am not very particular I cannot make much any how and would rather injoy life while it (paces?) than to make mony and not be satisfied we have had som varey cold weather this winter a little colder I think than I ever saw before but it has ben quite warm for the last week and yesterday it coment raining and last nite it rained all nite and to day it is a raining and vary muddy. now I want to here from you amediately so I may kno what to do I shall not buy any land till I here from you I wont to what to do by the first of Aprill any how tell me whether I had beter move in the spring or in the fall be shure and write soon Your Brother B Bartholomew
