Nov 11 [1943] 8:15 pm Though you are probably in bed asleep for it is 3 hours later there with you. I awaken you with a kiss, dearest. My free afternoon does not come until next Monday - (if we get free afternoons at all). But I will take time enough to let you know I am okay and think of you every waking hour and dream of you in my sleep. I often think I could never have gone through all that I have; were it not for you. .... for thinking and dreaming of you.
