20 Annapolis, Md., Tuesday March 29th 1864. Wrote a letter to Sullivan S. Childs, Attorney, Harrisburg, Pa., in reference to Local Bounty. Wednesday - 30. Rained all last night Thursday - 31. Jonas Faust, my assistant, being sick Corporal Warwick of Campany A, was detailed for that duty. Friday April 1. Sent Attorney Sulivan S. Childs, of Harrisburg, Pa a power of attorney to have me properly credited to Chester County and to collect any bounty that may be due - Also directed him to remit the amount to father. Monday - 4th - Our mail was taken from the Post office this morning at ten oclock, but has not been delivered at Camp up to 9 oclock P.M.
