No one hurt in our regiment. Tuesday 31. Slight skirmishing this morning, began about 9 oclock, and by noon the fighting was general all along the line. Eckel sent me clean underclothing. Wednesday June 1. Dug Rifle Pits this morning, during which Lieut. Wm. H. Heine, Company C. was wounded by a sharp-shooter - At 4.30 P.M. the reb's made a charge - Corporal G.W. Cake, Co. C. was wounded.
