56 officer, of the 46th Regiment New York Volunteers, dashed up on horse back and ordered me under arrest with the remark that the troops were bring kept out of sight of the enemy and I was in danger of drawing their fire. Of course I pled ignorance hence was left off with a reprimand. Sunday June 5th 1864 The 1st and 2nd Divisions of our Corps (9th) moved about 2 1/2 miles, by the Cold Harbor road, this morning as took position in the front line. This evening the enemy charged on us but were repulsed. During the charge Sergeant John Mackey of Company "I" was wounded.
