60 Monday, June 13th 1864 The march was kept all last night,- halted for breakfast and then at 8 oclock fell in and marched about a mile when another halt was made until three oclock in the afternoon, when we started off briskly and kept it up until 10 oclock this evening, when we halted and rations were issued. Tuesday 14th At 3.30 this morning we were again in line of march. Crossed the Chickahomany river, at Providence ford, about 5 oclock. Halted at Mount Sterling for breakfast, and after resting until 9.45 A.M. fell in and marched along briskly until 6.30 P.M. when we halted about a mile from the James River.
