116 Front of Petersburg, Va. (Left flank) Monday Sept. 26th 1864 All sorts of rumors are floating around Camp, but no official announcement has been made. Tuesday 27th Received our pay, this afternoon. I received only $44.00 - the Adjutant having neglected entering the 3d instalment, of the Bounty promised, on the Pay Roll. David Reifsnyder gave me $50 00 to send home to his sister Agnes, at Lebanon, Pa. Wednesday 28th Orders to be ready to move at a moments notice have been issued Gave John S. Eckel money to Express as follows: To E. Crater, self $41.00 ,, D. Reifsnyder Lebanon 55.00 from his son David " Agnes Reifsnyder 50.00 from her Brother David
