140 Near Peeble's House, Va. Wednesday, Nov 9th 1864 The Boys rallied on the Sutler last evening tearing down his tent. Drilled Company H this morning and in the afternoon acted as right guide, of Company H, on Brigade drill. It leaked out this evening that the boys were planning a raid on the Brigade Sutler tonight, hence Patrols have been sent out with orders to arrest all men on the Company streets after Taps. Thursday 10th Lieutenant Harrison S. Gechter, of Company "H" 50th P.V.V. received an honorable discharge. On Company drill this morning and afternoon. Studied Skirmish drill this evening.
