180 Fort McGilvery, Va. Sunday Feb'y 5th 1865 Orders to have 3 days rations on hand and be ready to move at moments notice have been received. Received notice that private J.A. Crawford, of Company F was paid at Armory Square Hospital, February 1st 1865 for the months of November and December 1864. Monday 6th As the enemy seem to be preparing to make an attack on our lines; by having the obstructions removed from in front of their line and massing troops it is expected an attack will be made on Battery #9 for that reason orders have been issued to hold the men ready, and Companies A and F are to
