209 Camp 50th Regt., P.V.V. near Georgetown, D.C. May 20th 1865 Received notice from the Paymaster's office that Major S.K. Schwenk had been paid $191.86 for the month of March 1865. Grand Review - May 23d 1865 - - Friday, June 23d 1865 - Was home on leave of absence for 20 days - returned to the regiment this morning, two days before the expiration of my time - John Eckel wishing to go to Baltimore, Md., and promising to be back in time for me to return my papers to Head Quarters on the 25th, I loaned them to him. - Sunday, June 25th 1865 - John S. Eckel returned today, after which I returned my leave of absence to Head Quarters, which restores me again on the pay roll to full pay from this date. Loaned Telford $200 00
