216 Baltimore, Md., Thursday July 6th 1865 Left Camp, at Kulps Hill, and marched through Gettysburg, this morning, during which Col. Schwenk had a photograph of the regiment taken while in marching order, on the street. Left Gettysburg at 9 oclock A.M., and arived at Hanover Junction at one oclock P.M., then took the Central (Northern Central) R.R. for Baltimore. Friday 7th Arived at Washington, D.C., about three oclock this mornin - took breakfast at the "Soldiers Retreat," then marched to our old camp, near Fort Gains. Sunday 9th Inspection and Brigade Dress parade.
