224 Philada Oct. 27. 1865 Rosa bought material for a black dress, for which I paid $20 25 Nov. 1. Rosa bought a shawl for her sister Christiana Lowe, for which I paid $10 00 and sent it to her by Express, at Reading, Pa - Express charges 35c prepaid. The Doctor ordered Brandy - Rosa sent out and purchased a bottle for $3 50 For sometime I have been quite ill. 11 Bought a Britannia Tea set, composed of 1 Coffee pot 2 Tea " 1 Sugar bowl 1 Cream pitcher 1 slop bowl all for $10 00 Nov 16 Recd from father on account $40 00
