lov[ed] (Page torn or obliterated) and faithful wife. I read the Psalm you spoke of in your last letter and will with you read it every day, Let us be very devoted & religious, not from selfish motives alone, but from principle and a desire to please God. Lieut Moore will be gone about one month & then___________, Darling, I have all that glow and intensity of love multiplied by ten that I first felt for you. Bless your dear heart, I would love to have you Caress me this morning. How does our [dear?] little boy [Jimmie?] (Page torn or obliterated) how badly I do want to see him, [and I want?] to see you so badly, I want to be able to be the recipient of those acts of kindness which you will love to bestow upon me when I Come home to you, Would you love to share our bed with me? I know you would, Bless your darling heart. Capt B has not yet returned, I think he is staying away a long time. How is your health? Tell me honestly. Are you in good flesh? Do you feel like a woman again? Hope so, I hope Father & Mother will Come & keep house for Hosea. O darling, how true I am being to you. It makes me happy to think of it. And I know that you are all mine. What a blessed Couple. God has [sejually?] blessed us, Has he not? O my dear wife, improve your mind. Let no time pass unimproved. Read, Study, Read, Study,
