And when I am permitted by Divine grace to clasp you to my heart you can cuddle down upon my breast with the sweet assurance that you alone are permitted to nestle there and that it is a pure retreat warmed and lit up by the sweetest and deepest and most transcendent love. That upon the tablets of my heart only Clara, no other women but my own loved Clara is dauguerrotyped there. O how I love to love you and to reflect that it is true that she is my wife. O we must, yea, we will, by divine assistance, give God all our influence and use our means and tallents for His honor and glory. Now let not this be an empty declaration with us. I am so anxious to see our beautiful little home. I know it looks very sweetly, and when I get home I am going to have lots of good romps over it with you and with my babies. I just want to romp
