you mean by “our enemies.” I do not know whether you refer to what some person has said about me, or whether some one has attacked your character. If it is the former I care nothing about it, and if the latter, I want you to write me and not keep me in such horrid suspense. You certainly are [?] this idea. Well it will not be but a little while if the Lord spares us, until we can be together. Praise His holy name forever. Excuse this short and uninteresting letter, as I am too busy to write now. I love you with a warmth that is inexpressible. “By by” I am your ever true husband Weaver
