It has been a remarkably quiet day here nothing going on more than there is any other Sunday I went to church this morning thought I would begin the new year right - this after noon five of us went up to Dr Maxwells and had a good Sing - Miss Emma played the Organ and we sung - they have a small parlor organ - I never saw one like it before - The Citizens of Lebanon gave us (Co B) a dinner at the Campbell House yesterday - they raised money to pay for it then got the proprieter of the hotel to get it up - passed off very pleasantly to all conserned I enjoyed
