Saving...
Claude come up this afternoon. He is well & working hard. I had Dr Aid check her too while he was there, as she wasn't feeling so well. She had an upset stomache again. She hasn't eaten all day. He said she was coming along all O.K. and gave her some medicine to flush the poison out of the system. He thought she had had the flu. He said she should have a tonic to build her up. So I am going to get that tomorrow. Dad & Mother came down for dinner today. They were O.K. only looked very tired. They are working too hard as usual. They always seem to enjoy coming down so much. I had a special from Gladys this morning & she had been sick with ear & sinus trouble & had been doctoring. She said Sam wasn't able to be out of the house yet. I guess he has had a time. I don't know what I am going to do for help. I just can't find anyone. I told mother to see what she could do for me there. I got an application from Ft. Madison & am having Claude check that for me. There just aren't any girls available I guess, I will do the best
