Isaac Moel May 1, 1942 Dear Dad & Mother: I've had three nice letters this week but it seems there hasn't been a moment to answer them. I'm sorry. I'm 22 letters behind now but maybe I'll get caught up some day. Today we finish another phase of school if I have good luck. We are going to make some sort of change I believe, either go back to ten day phases or change to morning shifts but maybe its just a rumor. This makes almost half thru. I got a letter from the Strong this morning it was nice of Zella to write. I'll bet Iowa is getting pretty. I suppose a few early birds have a little corn planted and the oats looks nice. I'm invited to Youngs for dinner tomorrow. They are having several fellows from camp. I don't know them but expect I'll have a nice day.
