I am sorry Mrs Hoover is sick hope she gets on okay. Tell Jan Westerfield to be patient I'll write them and send a picture. Young Helms had been working in California & was inducted out there. I'll bet you rang. Donald Wilson is an imposing figure, gosh Harley [Senson?] is surely making money. He's a grand fellow & I'm glad he is. If you see Sara Sykins be sure and say hello for me. Your box was small, I needed the tooth brush my U.S. Army one is getting quite badly frayed. Im saving the olives for some special occasion. I was just thinking the other day how good some would taste, mental telepathy I guess. I can chew to my hearts content too. I am sending a booklet of the field showing some [illegible] and scenes of the camp. Quite well represented in some cases a little exagerated. Wrote to Raymond & Ralph both yesterday. Grandma said I should send her letter to Ralph. I sent Mrs [Torsom?] a card she sent me one about a soldier. I'll have to walk to the P.Office to mail the folder. I guess I'd better quit. It must be at least 100° today & a hot wind. I must quit & get ready for chow, we eat at 4:15 P.M. then again at 1. AM. & at 10 AM - funny hours. I skip the 1 AM one because I don't sleep well if I eat then. Love Johnny
