be. It's going to be hard on Mrs. Randall with two little children. I had a nice letter from Mrs. Lynch last week she told me about the new dog. She said this was one dog she wasn't going to have to baby like they did the last one they had. I'm sorry Betty Land couldn't pass her nurses examinations maybe she'll be as lucky as Wanda and get a well to do young farmer. I got the Argo this morning it must have been awfully wet hope the [quack?] doesn't get ahead of the corn. It gave seed corn quite a test Harry Olson wrote that his Pfister corn came thru fine but his Dr. Kalf didn't stand it so good. In the papers I left down at the yard there is a slip showing how much difference there was coming to me on the car. I don't remember the exact amount but it is written down. I told Bill he could pay for it when he could (when he's hogs or the cattle). Mom don't send me any more funny papers. I see all but two or three of them down here and it isn't worth what it costs for postage. Put the postage into letters. I'll write again soon. Love Johnny Went to a music recital yesterday afternoon it wasn't so bad.
