chicken pox, was king of scabby. Viviane looks fine and they are wonderfully located a dandy apartment in a very nice part of town. Bob was in bed just got back from fishing over the fourth. Vivian hadn't told him I was there and when I woke him up he couldn't believe his eyes. We walked down to his office it is very nice & he has fine equipment. Dr. Gray seemed very fine and Bob thinks he is very good to him. You can guess much it meant to me to have [illegible] this short visit with the kids Had piece of Vivian's home made pie gee it was good. [Name?] was there. Vivian has had loads of company since [illegible] been out there and has been busy settling down. The kids seemed very happy in there new home. Hope Bob can stay out of the army. Wish I could drop into West Union for a couple of hours some afternoon. As I said I enjoyed yesterday more than any day since I've been in the army. I don't suppose I can get out of this camp to get down town but I will call the Dibbles tonite. This is a pump camp but the water is good & the air & scenery is grand. I'm lying on my bunk looking at a snow capped mountain it is very cool & clear here I am going to write again soon but can't tell where it will be from as we should only be here a very short time (I think Dad made a grand sale on my little [illegible]. Love, Johnny
