would give you a better idea than anything I could write. There are all sorts of games played on board and together with the band it makes it bearable, and then of course "rumors". I think I have heard more of those than ever before in my life. We have good quarters to sleep in or they would be if the ventilators were open at night. I think that life on ship board is so much variety that a masterpiece like Jimmy Stuart used to write in school It was thus (illegible). I can see him yet trying to look studious. Well I will close for this leave with the knowledge that I have made a letter where there was absolutely no news to make up for all differences. With Love Walter
