Dearest mother and father- Just a few more lines for you two - I found two nice letters from you here when I got back with much other mail. Don't believe all you hear about me - good or bad. You know Mrs. Dewey is prejudiced in favor of me and likes to spread on the taffy. I do like to have you tell me about it though. I have a nice letter from Jo. I'll send you the Martians as soon as I can find time. I wish I could write more but I just can't tonight. Write me all the farm news and I'll be home as soon as ever. I can get there. Much much love to you. Hope you are well. Margaret Conover just sat and laughed when she saw me. I look so well I'll never get any sympathy. Devotedly Louise
