train the last minute and went as far as Richmond with the Boston nurses Tues. We just couldn't see them go so we had supper with them in Richmond and came home on the trolley. We went to the show one night to try to drown our sorrows. Yesterday another nurse and I went to the woods with our sewing but slept or picked clovers most of the afternoon. This morning she and I went to chapel but there were only four people there for service - most of the nurses go to the evening services which are held out of doors. At the theater the other night they had songs but the "boys" between acts and then they asked we "girls" to sing alone. We didn't make must noise but we received much applause and it was lots of fun. All the nurses have to wear uniform all the time in camp now so there's no chance of anyone being rude when we
