Sept 2nd 1918 Dear folks at home - It seems as if we have been here many weeks but I find that it is only a little more than two. We are settled in our quarters and have a table and two cots now, with our trunks to sit on. In time we will have window panes but now they are not needed and we are all getting brown and fat from the fresh air and big meals we eat. Of course there are many things which we haven't but some how we don't miss them so much and everyone is good natured. We have an abundance of fleas but everyone has them and we all scratch all of the time so we are quite used to them. I don't know
