Dec 29th Dear folks at home, Just a line this morning , as I have written you all the news and there is nothing to tell except that we all were keyed up to go home and now our hopes are nipped in the bud and we are settling down to routine again after a fine spell of homesickness. We are still having fairly warm weather, rain and much mud but we don't mind that any more. Will write you a decent letter again soon. Love to you Devotedly Louise
