but we don't spend much of our time there. We are out every minute that we aren't in the office. The meals are excellent now since there aren't so many nurses here. Last night we all had our first Amer. apples- nice red- Hood River apples. They certainly were welcome. We bought some live crabs yesterday and the boys are going to cook them tonight. We also bought one small bunch of fresh asparagus which we cooked carefully last night and ate in our rooms. We surely hated to see the other nurses go but since they left we haven't minded so much, probably because we have been so busy. I am writing this in the office now it is 9 A.M. and I must start to work. Mrs. V is sick so I'll have to get busy. I hope you are both well again and that I will hear from you in a few days. Why don't they leave Jim in an asylum long enough to really get well. It must be pretty bad for him to bring him home so often.
