May 21 1919 Dearest Mother and Father After a week in this place I have nothing more to write than last week. Things are beginning to shape themselves ia little, but with each bunch of nurses who have gone home, we too have waited to go. The barracks are at least a little cleaner but rather hopeless there are so many bed bugs and the dirt of ages is in the cracks. We work continually from morn until night and have only been in the village once. It probably won't continue so for much longer tho! Sunday evening we [illegible]
