Saving...
we stoped on apeice or passed of land called Pomroy land and it is not known whether Pomroy owens it or not or whether it is rail road or Government land but there a great many family settled on it not knowing whether they will get it or not for it is doubtful about how it will come in to market so I dont expect we will stay on it very long if we can find some land further south East it is said there is good land further south with good timber on it that can be bought at $1.25¢ per acre or home steded but I dont know how it is for I have traveled so fare and have not found any as yet but I am going to try it one time more some further south We went to Iowa where all of our neighbors got nigh and we did not find them as weathy as we expected for Mr Williams that is Andrew Jackson was working at one dollar per day and his family either eat it or dress it all as fast as he made it
