Johnson as well as myself had tried to make two crops in Iowa and had failed in both attempts to make corn and William H. Johnson had lost his oats and the horse that he took to Iowa but Sarah James Johnson had got so rich that they would not speak to Henry and the girls or so proud I dont kow which tell the children that there Aunt bet Johnson has got to wearing the bigest whoops that they ever seen and sais that if it had not been for her whoops that she belived she would have died last summer I did not whether she told it for the trouth or not or because I did not like them so I must guit for this time for I have not got any space you must not for get to pray for your unworthy and write us soon as you get this direct your letter to Silver Lake Kansas.
