and draws the money i think we wrote to some of you how much we were to get Wm $100 for three months and I get $90 that is doing pretty well they had an examination and dinner at the end of Wm school they said they had a fine time I did not go I hated to loose the day from my school I wish your children had the chance of getting learning they have here We have had a vary pleasant winter only a few days the Thermometer stood below zero the coldest day ten degrees below the roads are dry and dusty some men have been sowing wheat the wind is blowing pretty cold to day it looks like it might snow the winter being so mild grain has not gone up like the peple thought Corn is dull at 40 and 50 cts per bushel wheat from 50 to 75 per bu. hogs 6 cts gross Cows from 25 to 40 dollars. horses
