has fallen way off. I guess I saw everyone and I owe most everybody letters. We should get paid this Sunday and I surely hope we do. This moth will be a nice months pay. $144 less expenses $6.25 for bonds + 2.07 insurance and a few little expenses. I guess thats about the most cash money I've ever made, hope I can get on the ball and make another rating before too long. Dont know whether I can make it or not we have so many new rated men with lots more service than I have. Perhaps ill be lucky to hold what little I have. The boys are having an awful time getting the old of the rim, wish we had Cliff + Lester to help. We mount a new tire and a wheel and when one goes bad we [illegible] new [illegible] tire and all on and away they go. Then we have to remove the old tire, mount a new one or replace the wheel bearings and seal them up as dust doesnt get to them. Am listening to Bob Burns and his program, some of his stuff is quite funny but most of it isnt so hot. We do kid Arky a lot about some of the stuff he brings up. Had to go hear the "Articles of War" read again yesterday you have to go very six months at least but I believe that is the sixth time Ive heard them since Ive been in. Im going to quit for tonight. Love Johnny
