Saving...
all he can for you. At present I am here in the Hospital where I came as soon as 85 went across. It seemed as if I must be busy to help the time pass more quickly. We had the dreadful epidemic, & were very busy & deadly tired -. but at last it abated after a fearful toll. I shall continue here, & keep our girl in school until I know what my own lot will be. I realize the work these doctors are doing & what it means. Mrs. Fox, my words are meagre, but my heart is just brimming with tears for you - and I know that you are doing what your husband would have you do - trying your best to bravely "carry on". Very sincerely Edith S. Davis. (Mrs. F. W. Davis)
