Saving...
4 Capt Davis, Lt Cornwall, Capt Nevin (Red Xer) and several nurses. I can't remember the date he left Belgrade. I do know I left Rome just 1 week after he did for Belgrade and when I arrived in B - he had left just a day or so before for Semeridina. The Serbian slept in same room with Walter and stole money, besides seeking some of the relief material for cash and keeping the money - The Serbian language is almost impossible and Walter was, in a measure, helpless and so depended on this Serb. The very first thing Walter said to me when I landed in Semeridria was to "ship that thieving Serb back to Belgrade" - later this interpreter was proven a thief and I was afraid he would try and make you [illegible] a financial obligation to him
