Philadelphia Pa, July 13 1917 1818 Arch St. Dear father, I read you letter last night and sure was glad to get. For that is the first one in quite a while. Well to day is the 13th and Fri So think I will stay in the house. One of those thing they call car's mayhit me. I went out to spend the day with the lady we are going to live with yesterday. Talk about good eats' We are going out there tomorrow I think we will like it just dandy. Say did you every go in a subway car Well that is the way we go out there. So if you every come out go under the ground
