Chicago Ill July 21.1917 Dear Mother:- I rec'd your letter but not the box. Well I am not going to tell you we are going but we are all ready to go, and they tell us we are going at 2 oclock I wont beleave it untill we leave. But if we do go Ill write every chance I get. You write wright away to that address then when I get there Ill have a letter. I know that box will be good. I sure hope I get it this afternoon so I will have it to eat on the train. Some married man
