The Gray Ladies are coming thru so I'll quit for a minute I need some, soap + tooth paste! they come thru every other day and go to the P.X for the fellows and get any thing they might need. Adeline is one of them and had been working out at Fort Des Moines and running errands for nigger Wac's how King hooted at her. Think the weather in going to take a change for the worse the way it looks this afternoon, dirty gray clouds are banking up and the sun is hidden, besides the sky was very red this morning. The train just went past and tho it's quite a way off I can still hear it plainly. Washed the window casings and doors this morning or rather helped do it there was lots of help so no one had too much to do. No wonder these hospitals look so clean they always keep scouring at them. Love Johnny
