Went with a friend of mine to the telephone office here on the base, after the show. They certainly have a nice place, waiting room well stocked with reading & writing materials, candy & cigarettes out on the tables for the taking. My friends' brother in law had just passed away suddenly but word had arrived to him too late to attend the funeral. Our orderly room hadnt attended to delivering the telegram, which had been here for over a day. Al did get to talk to his sister which helped some. Havent gotten around to write my thank you letters as yet. Must do it soon too or folks wont think I got their packages. Better go shower I guess as it's bed time. Love Johnny
