Camp McCain, Miss. June 7, 1944 Dear Dave, Thanks a lot for "Sccutilbut." I really enjoyed it a lot. That kind of news is the real "Hot Poop" from the people at home and afar. And not the old latrine humor off of the 4th stool. I am very glad you included me in your mailing list. It is hard to keep in touch with everyone when they are scattered all over the world unless you have something like the "Sccutilbut". You did make one mistake in the last issue tho' Dave. My buddy Tucker is a Captain not a Lt. You certainly weren't underating him just because he got married, were you? He and his wife stayed here at Camp and we had a wonderful chat. They were on their way to New Orleans. Our division is out in the field today on another test. Seems that we
