England June 27, 1944 Dear [Sir?] I received the Scuttlebutt today. I found it very interesting and sure glad to receive it. I see things have changed since I was home in November. Don't let them change too much or it will be like coming back to a strange town. It has rained here all day so have time to answer. There is not telling when I would get too it if it hadn't rained. If I don't answer right away I keep putting it off. Thanks for the Scuttlebutt. Raymond [Pfc. Raymond R. Haifley]
