without a casualty, but not so at Cassino where they had one grand boy killed while acting as as letter-bearer. I'm proud to say I was with those boys, for they've certainly earned a fine reputation. Speaking of papers - I have a little on of my own, called the [Bones?] and Stripes which I designed and edited, proving that it wasn't much good, but the fellows really got a bag out of it. My work here is pretty much of a snap compared to the job we had in the infantry, but these fellows deserve a little recreation and we spend 15-18 hours a day giving it to them. Wish you could see Rome, Bruce! It's as nice a city as you've find anywhere outside of London and one city in Ireland, (I mean overseas of course). Got to see Pius XII
