There is a good many of our co sick none of them dangerous i had to stand on brigade guard last night and it rained the blew a perfect gale we had to sleep out in the open air & in rain it is very cold here now at night specially we was just now called into ranks to go out after some rebels that took some teams and burnt the wagons & took the teamsters prisoner our co was going alone we got orders to go early in the morning our co goes with the MO 7th after the sons of bitches i dont know what the idea was for taking our co out of the regt and none of the rest since i began this i received one from Mira dated Nov the 13th i was glad to hear from home i have got 2 since i
