We have signed the muster rolls to be paid we will get it soon We get about 1.30 dollars there is 2.02 dollars due us but I don't know whether we get it here or in Iowa We get one months pay and 50 dollars in advance but I don't know whether they will pay that 50 dollars of our bounty here or wait till we get to Iowa If we have to go on the next campaign we will send our money home if not we will bring it home with us Well I don't know but what I had better close my scratching So write soon and often yours truly and affectionately P.
